Etiquette

Etiquette is a word formed for the human beings. This is the only quality that differentiate a man from the animals. Those who are breathing must possess it as an evidence of their existence as a human being. There are many creatures in this Universe who eat  well, drink well and sleep well and pass life in wildly manner. What makes a man different from those creatures?
Some are well cultured and find themselves on high position in the society while few are the exceptional cases when it becomes very difficult to separate them from the category of animals just because of their shape and size which seems as of human. In certain cases it becomes necessary to show manliness qualities which can prove a man as a human being. While eating, while talking, while sleeping, while reading, while dressing, while walking or at any of our acts one should follow certain rules or else he should be categorized in that exceptional case.
All those who are great or are respected in the society are the strict followers of etiquette. Etiquette enhances the character and makes it as holy as Ganges. Man's character is just like the river in which if etiquette flow then it remains soft and clear otherwise remains the water of gutters which is full of dirt and smell.
Etiquette give birth to positive and healthy thinking. A man acts accordingly to his thinking. If there are good and spiritual thoughts in the heart then the actions will also be performed accordingly. Etiquette moralizes the man, increases his charm, serve him and takes him to zenith. This dose provides the necessary elements that a body and the soul requires.

  1. I really enjoy your views. I was never a follower not to say i am leader. My views incline more to nihilism. It is inevitable to not to fall to opinions. And no i am not being negative. That being said.

All of us think we are superior that we think different that we are right - while writing this comment i think i am right. God created and send us to this world. Right before we were sent to planet Earth He said you are special - we are still hanging to the sarcasm of God.

I wonder how long we will have to prove ourselves to society and gain its respect. I am simply walking down the road enjoying the view and tranquility of time. A respected man walks by me. I am suppose to bow down to him to show the respect he gained of his work. If do not do it i do not have 'etiquettes'. It was my liberty to bow down to him or not is no longer applicable. The respected man gets hurt. It starts a chain reaction. Respect is a false entity and a game we play to keep us prevented from real question.

  2. @Sudhir......The day we take birth on this earth we are bound by some chains that may be called as rules. If we look towards the Nature it also follows that rule. If we are a part of Nature we must also follow them but it should be understood rules of Nature are not forcefully imposed and etiquettes follows the same. Etiquettes do not mean a person bowing, wishing his seniors on his face and has no respect in his heart. Etiquettes teach us to filter out our evils. Once malicious things are filtered from our heart, we become polite, and a human. A human full of etiquettes.

  3. Speaking on behalf of Nature is just preposterous. What we call unbendable-natural-laws are very much bendable for example time is not a linear entity. Most of the people who intentionally harm others mentally or physically live a very affluent life. Nature does not favor so called moral ones and condemn evil. I am not sure if nature differentiates between them at all solely on basis of morality. Obviously, the poor can sooth themselves by using unquantifiable measure of happiness.
